Our menopause clinics

Young menopause service

This service takes place on the first Thursday of every month.

This service is for women who experience the menopause under the age of 40 and have particular medical and psychological needs. We offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic options, including a forum for support and information.

Breast menopause clinic

This service takes place on the third Thursday of every month.

This specialist clinic is for women experiencing menopause symptoms who have had cancer in the past or who have a strong family history of breast cancer. Working in partnership with the breast surgeons and oncologists, we offer support, advice and if appropriate, treatment for these symptoms.

General menopause clinics

This service takes place on the second, fourth and fifth Thursdays of every month.

Your GP will usually be able to successfully support you with menopause. Sometimes, however, you might need to be referred for specialist clinical advice. This might be:

  • because of something in your medical history
  • for further treatment
  • for us to provide an expert opinion on the risks and benefits of treatment.
