Inflammatory bowel disease clinics

You can find our IBD outpatient clinics:

  • at St Mark's Hospital, level 3
  • at Central Middlesex Hospital, level 1, BeCAD.

Our department is open:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm
  • Fridays, 9am - 12noon.

At your outpatient appointment

When you first arrive at your outpatient appointment, please expect to be weighed by the outpatient nursing staff, who are also available to assist you whilst you are in the department.

At your outpatient appointment, we will:

  • review your current symptoms
  • physically examine you, if appropriate
  • discuss any concerns you might have
  • take some blood from you for a blood test, if you need one.

If you're coming for a follow-up appointment, it's important that any tests or investigations that we wanted you to have are completed before you come to see us. If you receive an appointment and your tests haven't been completed, please get in touch with our outpatients department so that they can rearrange your appointment.
