Bob Alexander, interim chair of the North West London Acute Provider Group, opens the AGM and reflects on a year of progress. He thanks staff, volunteers and partners, highlights improvements across north west London, and looks ahead to closer collaboration to improve care for local communities.

Take a look at some of the achievements from the past year, including improvements in patient care, research and innovation, sustainability, and external recognition. In her final AGM as chief executive, Pippa Nightingale looks back on the past year, celebrating staff achievements, research and innovation, improvements to patient care, and the work that has helped make London North West one of the most improved trusts in the country.

Bimal Patel, chief financial officer, explains how the trust delivered a financial surplus while continuing to invest in patient care, staff, buildings, equipment and digital technology. He also looks ahead to the priorities that will support services in the year to come.

Mrs Asra Saleem and Therese Witham share how maternity services have improved over the last few years. They discuss the work to strengthen safety, support staff and improve care, as well as the positive results now being seen for women, babies and families.

Dr Scott Rice explains how the trust is improving cancer care through earlier diagnosis, research, innovation and personalised treatment. He also shares plans for the future, including a new cancer centre and a stronger focus on helping patients access care closer to home.

Professor Tim Orchard reflects on the progress made across north west London and explains how the Acute Provider Group will help hospitals work more closely together. He outlines plans to improve care, support staff and make the best use of shared expertise and resources.
