Nursing careers
Wherever you are in your nursing career, we’ve got the opportunities, community, and people, to help you grow, learn, and thrive.
And if you’re looking to move to the UK from overseas, return to practice, or get a head start on your career, we can help with that, too.
Opportunities to grow, develop, succeed
Your career is only limited by your willingness to succeed. But that doesn’t mean we can’t help you along the way…
Fast track student opportunities
Our students get a flying start. If you’re currently on placement with us and you’re due to qualify soon, we’ll guarantee you a job. And subject to availability, you can pick your speciality, too.
There’s no need for interviews or a lengthy recruitment process – just come along to one of our pre-qualifying recruitment fairs and we’ll give you all the information you need.
Helping you on your way with preceptorship
During your early years as a newly qualified nurse, you’re going to need space, time, and support to be the best you. We understand it’s a little daunting, but we’re with you every step of the way.
That’s why all our newly qualified nurses are automatically placed on our preceptorship programme – one of the few formally accredited programmes in London.
You will:
- have an amazing, fully trained mentor, who has the experience to back up their knowledge
- receive 20 credits at level 6 or 7, which can go towards your nursing degree or even a masters
Develop your specialist skills
If you’re looking to develop your nursing skills or fall in love with another specialism, our programmes can help.
We offer courses in:
- ITU
- Stroke care
- A&E trauma
- Emergency care
Lots of our nurses have successfully made the jump to their newly found specialism, and even gone on to become one of our valued nurse specialists.
Your education
We want you to be the best so we can give the best care to our community. It’s really that simple.
That’s why our education centre provides amazing training for everyone – not just our staff, but for lots of different people from all over the country.
There are multi-professional courses where you’ll get to mix with a rich group of specialists, or courses just for your staff group. There’s so much on offer, it’s worth taking a look.
Leadership and development
Nursing doesn’t stop moving, so why should you? Our university partners (University of West London and Bucks New University) offer lots of different courses, including post-grad diplomas in management studies for health and social care.
And if you want to get into nursing management, our aspiring ward managers’ programme can help you become a brilliant leader so you can inspire the next generation of nurses.
What’s stopping you?
If all this sounds like your cup of tea, we can’t wait to meet you.
