Become a volunteer

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and they give us their time for lots of different reasons. But they all have one thing in common: they all make our patients’ care and experience better.

We think they’re a pretty amazing bunch.

With roles like mealtime helpers and wayfinders, to admin support and patient companions, we’ve got something for everyone.

We're looking for someone special

We’re looking for kind and compassionate people, with energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. You need to be reliable, show initiative, and have the ability to listen and observe.

You also need to be eligible to work in the UK.

So, as long as you’re over 18 and you’ve got some time to spare, join our awesome army of more than 500 volunteers.

All we ask is that you commit to volunteering for four hours a week for nine months.
