DAISY awards: celebrate extraordinary nurses and midwives

Celebrate a registered nurse or midwife who has shown you or a loved one outstanding compassion, skill, or professionalism and nominate them for a DAISY award.

Nominations can be made by patients, families, friends, and carers.

Recognising our DAISY award recipients

DAISY award recipients will receive a healers’ touch sculpture, a copy of their nomination, a certificate, and a DAISY honouree pin badge.

Judging the DAISY awards

All nominations are judged by our DAISY council.

Every three months, six teammates will be honoured at a special awards ceremony.

DAISY award recipients are selected based on the DAISY awards criteria, reflecting our Trust's HEART values of honesty, equity, accountability, respect, and teamwork.

About the DAISY awards

The DAISY award is celebrated in healthcare organisations all around the world, recognising the very best in registered nursing and midwifery.

The award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died from an autoimmune disease at 33.
