Our audiology team provide specialist hearing assessment and treatment for complex referrals for adult patients. We accept referrals for patients living in the boroughs of Brent, Ealing and Harrow.

Our team can help with:
- Hearing assessments and reassessments for complex referrals
- Follow-up assessments
- Fit and adjust hearing aids
- Hearing aid repairs, drop off service available
Referring to audiology for adults
Complex referrals
GPs and hospital consultants can refer you to us using the NHS e-Referrals Service (e-RS).
You will need a new referral from your GP for reassessments.
If you have been given hearing aids from our service, you will need to attend regular repair and servicing appointments. If you do not attend or hold an appointment within a 12 month period you will be discharged from our service.
Routine referrals
We do not accept routine referrals for hearing and hearing aid assessments. These are managed by local community audiology services.

Hearing aid battery service
You can collect hearing aid batteries from:
- Central Middlesex Hospital: ACAD reception desk
- Ealing Hospital: Outpatients 4, Audiology reception, Level 2
- Northwick Park Hospital: Outpatient reception desk, Level 4
Opening times are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.
Please bring your:
- Brown battery book, or
- White battery card
You can recycle used batteries at our hospitals or in most supermarkets.
