Gita supports young surgeons
A belated congratulations to St Mark's research fellow Gita Lingam who was elected as President of the Moynihan Academy, the trainee arm of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
The academy, which has more than 650 members, is dedicated to supporting and enhancing surgical training through educational webinars, revision resources, podcasts, research initiatives, in-person skills courses, cadaveric workshops, and a range of other opportunities for trainees.
Gita is leading the academy, alongside her research and PhD work, in helping develop opportunities for the next generation of surgeons.
