Pippa’s purr-fect day

Chief Executive Pippa Nightingale was invited to Downing Street in recognition of LNWH's improved elective performance.

Pippa said: “It was a real privilege to represent LNWH, but this recognition belongs to our teams. Thank you for everything you're doing for our patients every day - and let's keep building on the progress we've made.”

LNWH was recognised as the fifth most improved trust nationally for referral to treatment with performance increasing from 51.6% to 64.4%, while the number of patients waiting longest for treatment fell from 2,888 to 778.

And what better way to round off a visit to Downing Street then crossing paths with moggy royalty Larry the Cat, No 10's resident mouser.
