Tiny Tilly's helpful cuddles
There's a new Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog on the wards.
Tiny Tilly the Cavapoo has been melting hearts since Dr Sajini Wijetilleka started bringing her into Northwick Park Hospital to meet patients and staff.
“She loves coming into hospital and patients really enjoy interacting with her,” said the AMU consultant who put Tilly through her paw-some paces on a PAT training course before she could come into hospital.
Sajini added: “We used to have bi-weekly visits by PAT dogs in my previous job and people loved it. I decided once
I had a dog it would be nice to bring them into Ealing and Northwick Park hospitals where is now work.”
The four-year-old has her own Instagram page @doctortilly and is following in the paw prints of mother, Roo, who is also a PAT dog.
