Unit brings children closer to home
A new four-bed Paediatric High Dependency Unit has opened at Northwick Park providing specialised care closer to home for local families.
It is one of only a handful of hospitals in London offering the service and is designed for young people who:
• Require long-term non-invasive ventilation
• Have tracheostomies, with or without ventilation
• Live locally to Northwick Park Hospital
• Do not require intensive care support.
