We’re just bee-ing helpful, say hospital staff
Staff at Central Middlesex are bee-ing helpful during the succession of heatwaves by providing water stations outside the hospital for pollinators.
Thirsty bees have been slaking their thirst thanks to kind-hearted staff who noticed just how many of the insects collect nectar from flowers in the hospital's grounds.
Thoughtful staff have even added small stones around the water dishes so bees have a platform to drink from.
Jelissa Williamson said: “It's a gentle reminder of how small environmental touches can support both local biodiversity and staff wellbeing.”
