Grace under pressure
The trust has treated several thousand people for Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic and one of the most dramatic stories was that of YouTube influencer Grace Victory who was put into an induced coma less than 48 hours after the birth of her son at Northwick Park Hospital.
Grace spoke at length to the Guardian about her life and death struggle with the virus and the emotional moment she was reunited with her baby.
She thanked medical staff saying ‘they were outstanding’ and ‘above and beyond.’ We wish Grace and her family all the best.
