HS2 works on the A40
The HS2 project will be completing works on the A40 Western Avenue from Monday 27 May until late October.
The works will take place between Alperton Lane and Hanger Lane Gyratory.
On Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 May, there will be an overnight lane closure between 10pm and 5am on the A40 Western Avenue to install cameras.
If you’re driving to Central Middlesex Hospital and generally use this route, please be aware that your journey may take longer than usual during this time. You may want to allow more time for travel or use an alternative route.
