NHS uniforms on parade

New NHS uniforms are on show in local hospitals making it easier for staff and patients to identify one another.

The four ‘core colour groups’ cover Allied Healthcare Professionals (ruby and white), Healthcare Science (Teal), Nursing and Midwifery (blue) and Pharmacy (green) along with departmental heads (black).

It is the first time pharmacists have been required to wear a clinical uniform in the trust.

More than 5,000 uniforms are currently being distributed across the trust’s three hospital sites with staff each receiving three sets of uniforms.
