Ralph celebrates a hat-trick
Ralph Schafer who has been named Student Nursing Associate Mentor of the Year for the third successive year by Brunel University.
Ralph, who is Practice Development Lead at Ealing Hospital, was nominated by students for his enthusiasm, support and open-door approach to helping his young colleagues.
The Nursing Associate Apprenticeship programme started in 2018 bridging the gap between healthcare assistants and nurses.
Students who pass their foundation degree can go on to study to become a registered nurse.
It was a double night of celebration for Ralph who picked up his award on his birthday.
