St Mark’s unit open for business
St Mark’s Endoscopy Unit and Bowel Cancer Screening Centre at Northwick Park Hospital has officially reopened after a multi-million pound refurbishment reflecting its status as one of the best gastrointestinal services in the UK.
The screening centre benefits from two additional clinic rooms reflecting the expansion and age reduction of the National Screening Programme, a dedicated colonoscopy room and recovery area.
The Endoscopy Unit offers patients’ private ensuite facilities and improved air flow ensuring compliance with its state-of-the art facilities and equipment.
The unit enjoys Joint Advisory Group accreditation reflecting the high standard of services and continued to treat patients, despite the refurbishment.
