Dr Singh is big in Japan
Dr Harmandeep Singh chatted about his experience of having Covid-19 and his subsequent return to work at Ealing Hospital to treat patients with ANN News, one of Japan’s national news channels.
“This essentially is a war. People need to understand and take it seriously. The NHS is up for the fight, but what the NHS really needs from the general public is they need to stay indoors.”
Dr Singh, who works as a cardiologist, has been redeployed to treat patients with Covid-19 like many other colleagues in the trust.
He spent two weeks fighting the virus himself after he fell sick with his wife.
“I’m fine now and have made a full recovery.”
