Former patient giving back as volunteer
Tanya Marshall, like many of our volunteers, was originally a hospital patient who wanted to give something back to the community.
She works in the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre at Northwick Park Hospital providing admin support and advising patients on relevant information booklets.
Tanya said: “Volunteering gives me a sense of accomplishment and the satisfaction of knowing I’ve helped in some small way.
“I meet a fantastic variety of people and patients are always appreciative.”
