Got what it takes to join London’s biggest A&E?

You never know what is going to come through the door in A&E, which is why we are looking for nurses with the right stuff to join one of the biggest and busiest emergency rooms in the UK.

ITV2’s Emergency Nurses captured the work of our nursing team at Northwick Park Hospital and the fast-paced environment they work in. The department was at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19 where its work was widely reported on programmes including Newsnight.

This friendly close-knit team has one of the highest staff retention rates in the trust so why not come and see what we have to offer at a recruitment day starting at 10am on Tuesday April 25.

It will include a tour of A&E and a chance to meet some of our staff. It’s a demanding work environment but also one that offers a huge variety and great career development opportunities. This includes:

  • Internally run clinical skills and development courses
  • A Band 6 development programme
  • Development leadership courses
  • Support from locally based clinical practice/facilitators.
  • The recruitment day will offer a range of nursing positions including Acute Medicine, Ambulatory/Same Day Care, Band 5-6, and student nurses qualifying in 2023.

You will also have the opportunity to work in our sister A&E department at Ealing Hospital.
