Intensive care shortlisted for five awards

Our intensive care teams went above and beyond during the pandemic but still managed to support the development of the next generation of intensive care nurses.

Their commitment is reflected in this year’s Nursing Times Student Awards where the teams have been shortlisted in an unprecedented five award categories.

The shortlist is for Nurse Education Provider of the Year, Best Student Experience, Student Placement of the Year, Teaching innovation of the Year and Magnolia Pinga (Practice Supervisor of the Year).

Viv Sathianathan, Clinical Director of Critical Care, said: "It is a real pleasure to work alongside our passionate, innovative and dedicated nursing team.

“They continue to inspire me on a daily basis and I am delighted that their endeavours have been recognised with so many nominations at this year's Nursing Times Student Awards"

The award night will be held on April 28 in London.
