St Mark’s nurse wins award

Congratulations to Petya Marinova who won the ‘New Talent’ category at the Healthcare Honours Awards at the Houses of Parliament.

Petya, Lead Nurse for Pouch and Stoma Care at St Marks Hospital, was also ‘highly  commended’ in the Improving Outcomes: Management Team category along with colleague Zarah Perry-Woodford.

Zarah Perry-Woodford and Petya Marinova at the Healthcare Honours Awardss Petya’s solo award focused on individuals with up to five years’ experience in a leadership or managerial position who had shown remarkable potential as a leader and made outstanding contributions to their organisation.

The awards, which recognise exceptional achievement and leadership skills within the NHS, are organised by the British Journal of Healthcare Management.
