Volunteers wanted to go SUPERNOVA on Covid-19

A medical trial at Northwick Park Hospital’s Clinical Research Facility is looking for volunteers to take part in a study which could protect people with weakened immune systems from the worst effects of Covid-19.

SUPERNOVA is looking at a ‘study’ drug to test its effectiveness and safety and the facility would like to hear from anyone aged 12 years or older with an impaired immune system.

More than 6,000 people were treated at Northwick Park and Ealing hospitals during the first three waves on the pandemic.

Participants must not have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past three months and be available for nine hospital visits over a one-year period.

Additional visits may be required if participants develop Covid-19 symptoms at any time during the trial.

For information, call Northwick Park Hospital’s Clinical Research Facility on 0208 869 5446 or email lnwh-tr.crf@nhs.net
