Donation helps foot-weary staff

Donations have continued to pour into our hospitals including a couple of helpful chaps from Furniture Village who made the trip down from Milton Keynes to deliver furniture for our hard working staff.

Now, we all know what a nightmare it is to assemble a flat-pack unless you can call on Nick Knowles and Co. so it was impressive that the village’s Carl Hood and Paul Flack helped put the sofas together.

Anaesthetist Dr Vazira Moosajee said: “Carl and Paul arrived like a ray of sunshine with big smiles on their faces, and wouldn’t let me lift a finger to help. They stayed here for hours rearranging rooms and building all the new furniture.

The trust would like to say a big thank you to all the individuals and businesses who have donated goods in recent weeks.
